3.2 Fan works such as fan art, fan fiction, or gameplay videos are permitted for non-commercial purposes only. The commercial sale of unlicensed merchandise, such as fan goods on marketplaces (e.g., Etsy), is prohibited without prior written permission from Rice Games. We welcome fans to contact us with ideas, proposals, or requests regarding licensed merchandise or collaborations.
4. Streaming and Fair Use
4.1 Rice Games allows you to create, stream, and monetize gameplay videos and commentary (e.g., Let’s Plays, reviews, live streams) under fair use, provided such content is not misleading, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise harmful to the reputation of the Services or Rice Games, as determined in Rice Games’ sole discretion.
5. Community Conduct
5.1 When using the Website or Services, you agree not to engage in conduct that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
5.2 The Services may link to third-party community platforms (such as Discord). Your participation in those platforms is subject to their respective Terms of Service and community guidelines.
6. Save Data and Support
6.1 Rice Games is not responsible for corrupted save files, lost progress, or other data issues.
6.2 Where possible, we will make best efforts, without guarantee, to assist you in coordinating with the relevant platform provider (e.g., Steam, PlayStation Network, Nintendo eShop) to attempt recovery of unmodified, untampered save data. Rice Games shall not be responsible for any consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of time, enjoyment, or anticipated progress.
7. System Requirements
7.1 You are solely responsible for ensuring that your hardware, operating system, and software environment meet the minimum requirements for using our Services. Rice Games does not guarantee compatibility outside published requirements.
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 Our Services and Website may integrate or rely on third-party services and platforms, such as Steam, PlayStation Network, Nintendo eShop, Discord, WordPress, or Amazon Web Services. Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9.2 Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

10.2 Termination does not affect Rice Games’ rights to seek damages or enforce legal remedies for prior violations.

11.2 Rice Games does not warrant that the Services will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rice Games shall not be liable for any loss of data, anticipated profits, business opportunities, or revenue, arising from your use of the Services.
