  • We may send transactional emails related to digital products, such as updated files, critical bug fixes, or important compatibility notices.

We do not use any technical controls for digital products that would access files on your devices other than what is strictly necessary to deliver and validate the purchased digital product.

7. Physical Products, Shipping, and Fulfilment

For physical products:

  • We share your name, shipping address, and contact details with shipping carriers and fulfilment partners solely to deliver your order and provide tracking.

8. Payment Processing

We rely on third-party payment processors to securely process payments. When you make a payment:

  • Your payment information is sent directly to the payment processor via encrypted connections.
  • The processor may share back with us: a tokenized payment method, limited card details (for example, the last four digits and expiration date), and the payment status.
  • We use this information to verify that your payment was successful, issue refunds, and prevent fraud.

Please refer to the payment processor of your choice’s privacy policy for more information on how they handle your personal data.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies in the Store

The Store uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • remember your cart and checkout progress;
  • keep you logged in to your Store account;
  • understand how visitors use the Store, so we can improve it;

We keep your Store-related personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Ecommerce Notice, including to:

  • fulfil your orders and provide any applicable warranty or support;
  • comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (which may require us to store certain records for several years);
  • resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; and
  • maintain accurate business and financial records.

When we no longer need personal data, we will either delete it, anonymize it, or, if that is not possible (for example, because the data is stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

11. How We Share Store-Related Personal Data

In addition to the sharing described in the Main Privacy Policy, we may share Store-related personal data with:

  • IT and hosting providers – that host our Store and related systems;

  • Authorities and regulators – when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information.

12. International Data Transfers

Because we operate globally and use third-party service providers, your Store-related personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We will take appropriate measures to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, for example by using standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

The general information on international transfers in the Main Privacy Policy also applies to Store-related data.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Store is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the Store. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data through the Store, please contact us.

14. Your Rights

Your rights under GDPR (if you are in the EU/EEA or UK) and under CCPA/CPRA (if you are a California resident) – such as the rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to object to certain processing – also apply to Store-related personal data.

You can exercise these rights using the methods described in the Main Privacy Policy (for example, by emailing contact@ricegames.net and following the verification steps described there).
